A fairly quick detour off I-4, this is a gem of a family-owned and operated restaurant that embodies the character of Plant City. Service was wonderful. Everything was fresh and cooked to perfection. Highly recommend their home fries and their sausage gravy to accompany any of the plentiful and delicious breakfast options.

This was like walking into my Mom's kitchen with friends and family chatting and gathering and not worried about being perfectly mannered. These are real people with real home cooked food. The food is delicious, we did wait for a while but good homemade food is worth the wait. We got chicken fried steak and everything omelette. Seasoned perfectly and cooked perfectly even 1 hr before before they closed. Not everyone can be sunshine and rainbows but that doesn't mean they aren't beautiful! I would absolutely recommend if you like good home cooking and fresh food.

We come here all the time and love it! The servers are always attentive, the owners know everybody and always say hello while cranking out order after order at the grill. Many of the patrons are local regulars, catching up with each from the next table over while they drink their coffee. When you see the same folks coming back day after day, you know it's good! The food is classic dinner fare, cooked perfectly and with rarely a delay even when it's busy. Prices are fair, portions are generous, and they make the best fried pork chop this side of heaven. I'm sure Anna's will continue to be our go-to for many years!

If you’re looking for the best steak for breakfast in town, look no further than Anna’s Hometown Restaurant! This place is a hidden gem—quiet, cozy, and full of that small-town charm that makes you feel right at home. The food is always fresh, the service is warm and welcoming, and that steak... absolutely unbeatable. It’s the kind of spot you almost want to keep a secret—but it’s just too good not to share!

We were looking for somewhere to eat brunch, after escaping the East I-4 traffic on the way to Orlando, and this place popped up on Google Maps for food. We love non-chain restaurants, and boy was this a perfect choice. The girls were friendly when we came in, and it did take a minute to get menus, but it was busy in there, full of regulars. The atmosphere is like waffle house, but more homey. My husband chose the chicken fried steak, and he was happy with it, and I had an omelet with home fries. My oldest had a patty melt, and my youngest did a basic breakfast. All of it was good, no complaints. Note that soda comes in a bottle, no refills, but I had the peach tea. Also, the small orange juice is in a tiny bottle, obviously no refills, either. So if you do want an OJ, just know it's not much. Other than that, I would love to go back for sure - on purpose! Maybe next time you are heading to a theme park or whatnot, and driving along I-4, take a (planned) detour to Anna's for breakfast or brunch.

Heading back into Tampa, traffic backed up and we decided to get off and grab a late breakfast. Anna's didn't look like much from the outside, or the inside really. Wow was that impression wrong! The food was fabulous! I'm quite the biscuits and gravy connoisseur and these were some of the best I ever had. The home fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and the bacon was perfectly prepared. Service was prompt and friendly. My biggest regret I live half a country away from this delicious restaurant!
